Great location, it's just a few minute's walk to the train station and city centre attractions. The staff were wonderful, from the receptionists to the breakfast staff, all very friendly and helpful. The room was quite large, and the soundproofing very good, I never heard a single noise from other guests. Shower was excellent, the air conditioning great, beds and pillows comfy. Breakfast was lovely, with many choices, from meats, cheeses, breads, cereals, fruit, bacon, sausages, eggs to miniature karjalanpiirakkoija. All in all, a great, comfortable experience, I will definitely stay there again when in Helsinki next time.

We arrived quite late as our flight was delayed, but Joanna on reception was exceptionally helpful and made the check-in process very easy for us. Location is reasonably convenient to train station, trams and city centre. Our room was quite large, with the bedroom separated from the entrance / living area, and we had facilities for making tea and coffee. The air-conditioning in our room was quite effective. The hotel is quite labyrinthine and we were right at the back, but it was easy to access the breakfast area via a separate lift. It was very quiet. Breakfast was excellent with a good range of foods.

Awesome location and a really funky Nordic Vibe. Staff were fabulous and very knowledgeable. Breakfast was pretty good (prob awesome for a meat eater, but certainly an acceptable level of choice for vegetarians) The bed was super comfortable and the room very quiet. The sauna was brilliant although sauna opening times were limited. I would stay there again.

I explored Helsinki mostly on foot, and for me, the location of Hotel Mestari was perfect. It’s right next to the Kamppi Shopping Center and just a short walk (around 10 minutes) from both the Kamppi metro and bus/train stations, as well as the central railway station. Many of Helsinki’s main attractions – such as the Esplanadi, Senate Square, Uspenski Cathedral and the Rock Church – are all within 6–10 minutes’ walking distance. I had originally booked a Deluxe Room with balcony, but was offered an upgrade to a Junior Suite. I accepted, but the suite unfortunately had no balcony, no view, and no window in the bedroom. However, the room was very quiet and very well equipped. The staff was reserved in a typically Finnish way, but friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK – a typical buffet like you now find in many hotels – nothing particularly special, but nicely presented.

The location is fab, with tram and metro stops really close. I loved the decor - colorings were really relaxing in our rooms (we had two rooms). The man on front desk when we checked in was really helpful - sorry that I didn't take note of his name. He clearly has his clients' comfort first and foremost in his approach. Really appreciated him.

The hotel is very nicely decorated. My room was perfect. Overlooking the street. Plenty of light coming in. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows amazing. Had a safety box and kettle for coffee or tea. The buffet breakfast served daily was outstanding. Many options to chose from and plenty of seating. I didn't have food in the restaurant but they have a very nice bar and lounge area. The hotel is in the center. 15 minute walk to the main train and bus station to go to and from the airport . I walked all around and thoroughly enjoyed my stay even extending it by an extra day.
